They made keeping the guests happy and safe a priority. This makes Uniworld A+!,

3/3/2011
We were on the River Tosca when the protests in Egypt began in January 2011. The staff and our tour guides were amazing. Even though they were worried about homes and families (and their jobs), they made keeping the guests happy and safe a priority. This makes Uniworld A+!  -Bill & Gerry

Uniworld has a winning formula for success that should be envied by the entire cruise industry.,

I don’t think a lot about soap.  The cosmetic industry reports tens of billions of dollars in revenue, annually, and quite frankly, it is lost on me.  Give me a bar of zest, splash on a little Old Spice, and I am good to go.  This explains why I didn’t really get all that excited when my colleagues went on and on about how pampered I was going to be when embarking on my upcoming Uniworld River Cruise.  The company uses the L’Occitane product line of toiletries on their river boats.  Because of an arduous journey getting ...

Converts to Cruising,

1/11/2011
My wife and I had the pleasure of a most relaxing week between Budapest and Passua in October 2010 on board River Beatrice. The ports and the ship have been described to death by previous guests, and I'd agree with all previous superlatives. But for us,the reason we chose Uniworld was that, as Australians, we wanted to be with fewer of our fellow countrymen than would have been the case if we'd travelled on an APT (Australian Pacific Tours)ship. One of the pleasures of travel is to meet other people rather than your own kind, and that was enhanced for ... Read More...

A wonderful white Christmas,

1/3/2011
We have just recently returned from the European Holiday Markets from Vienna to Nuremberg . This is our 2nd river cruise with Uniworld. We really enjoyed ourselves in the winter wonderland and the top-notch hospitalities of Uniworld.

Our trip was not smooth "sailing" all the way, it was a winter of record snow falls in Europe. One of my luggages was sent to Finland instead and luckily we got it back the next day before the ship set sails.

Our Ship the River Countess could not arrive on time on the 1st day due to the high water ... Read More...

Beautiful Trip -- Paris & Normandy,

1/2/2011
My experience on the Baroness in October was 4-Star. And especially stellar was the cuisine -- the creative genius of Chef Sousa and his staff.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! And keep up the good work --

(PS -- I plan to visit the Duoro region end of August, 2011 -- how about transferring Chef Sousa to that new vessel?)

Mrs Joyce Schoen,

7/13/2010
My husband and I have returned home from a wonderful voyage on the River Beatrice from Budapest to Passau. This was our 5th Uniworld cruise and surpassed our expectations in many ways. We have enjoyed each of our previous trips, but this ship was so beautiful and new that this trip was a real joy. Even though we were held up in Budapest, due to the flood on the Danube, the entire experience was positive. The crew was young and enthusiastic and Capt.Tom was a delight to talk to, a real "hands on" Capt who often worked right alongside his ... Read More...

"Unforgetable",

Our Anniversary in Vienna,

6/30/2010
Since we were back from our first cruise, we had decided to take another trip with Uniworld, this time we had our friends with us. "Enchanting Danube" was truly romantic trip. Our extended trips prior to cruise in Vienna and Budapest and then post cruise in Prague, could not ask anything better. We fell in love with small town Durnstein, Wachau Valley was breath taking. We will never forget the twilight view of chain bridge, Palace from the hotel Inter Continental in Budapest. Melk Abbey, Salzburg, I can go on and on. Cruise ended in Passau, another small beautiful town ... Read More...

THe Best Cruise-Ever,

6/29/2010
Last September, my wife Fran , and I took the Legendary Rhine and Moselle cruise from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam. This was our eleventh cruise. We have cruised on big ships, little ships, and medium sized ships, representing several cruise lines. We have enjoyed them all (except our first cruise to the Bahamas in a terrible storm); but this cruise with Uniworld, on the Rhine and Moselle, has to be the best, the most beautiful, and most delightful cruise we have taken. This was our third cruise on Uniworld. We will be making many more. Jim Johnson Col (Ret) USAF ... Read More...

Splendors of Egypt and the Nile,

6/26/2010
UniWorld goes beyond my expectations. As a single traveler I never felt out of place or alone. On a scale of 1 - 10 I give them 15+. The “Splendors of Egypt” is an exceptional tour. One that seasoned travelers shouldn’t miss. The ship ‘River Tocsa” is a beauty in every way. The staff and crew are so available and friendly and entertaining. The beauty of each suite is 5 Star. The public areas inviting. The food exceptionable. The parties a real blast that all can enjoy and take part in. Our tour guide was like a brother who was ... Read More...

Great Experience,

We had a wonderful time, Staff and crew were great. Our cruise director Rik was especially wonderful. Always organized, informative and personable. Even having to change ships due to river flooding was seamless and enjoyable due to his attitude and care.

A Truly Wonderful Experience,

6/11/2010
From arrival to departure we were made to feel like we were the most important guests on the ship. We covered a lot of territory and saw magnificent views. From rooftop views of Miltenberg, Germany, 2,000 year old Roman ruins and 16th Century churches. The tiny town and memorial Chapel where the famous Christmas Carole "Silent Night" was first sung and homes with bench pillows to match the shutters on the house. Not to mention all the Castles along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken, right down to the last ... Read More...

This cruise was everything that I hoped it would be.,

6/9/2010
This cruise was everything that I hoped it would be. Starting in Amsterdam we got to see Rembrandt's in the museum. Then on to the river where we could see the windmills in the fields. Coming into Cologne the air raid alarm was sounding. An eerie reminder of the past. The guides did a great job in explaining the local history and showing pictures of the devastation of WW2 and the rebuilding that the Germans did. The trip down the Rhine through the Riesling section was stunning. we were able to purchase local wines and have them shipped home. The ... Read More...

Jewels of the Nile,

6/8/2010
Our third Uniworld trip - it delivered as advertised. Stunning scenery, excellent guides, on-board service and ambiance was fantastic. Tours were enhanced by using the audio system - if you have small ear canals, bring your own headphones as the ones provided are large. The sites bustled with activity and local people hustling their wares. Good deals on souvenirs - list to your guides recommendations about when & where to buy. Bargaining is an art form and not for the faint of heart. The staff of both ships were helpful,  pleasanprofessional andt. The Chef was everywhere, overseeing food preparation and ... Read More...

Absolutely Wonderful Ship and Crew,

6/5/2010
I went on the Classic Egypt in May, 2010 and it was the trip of a lifetime. The Egyptologist who served as our tour guide made history come alive, the Cairo Marriott was a fantastic hotel and the River Tosca and the Nile Cruise were perfection. This is the way to truly see Egypt -- its history and its culture. Every day was full of the sights and marvels you have read about in the history books but never believed you might actually see. The food was excellent, the staff attentive and there was never a ... Read More...

What a great way to travel!!!,

5/25/2010
We absolutely fell in love with Uniworld a couple of years ago. We went on the Tulips and Windmills tour of Holland and had a great time. We love the pace of the cruise, the fact that we usually were docked right at the town centre and were able to walk to those lovely "old town" attractions. We met some wonderful people and are still maintaining those friendships via e-mails. In fact we enjoyed that trip so much, we came home and booked for the European Serenade for August of 2009. Once again we loved ... Read More...

The River Royale provided a great introduction to river cruising,

5/24/2010
We selected this Uniworld cruise mostly because of the French itinerary. It was our first river cruise and our first trip with Uniworld. We were very impressed with the staff, the accommodations, the itinerary, the local guides, and of course the food and wine. Uniworld had thought of everything and all of the staff and crew worked very hard to make sure that their guests had a memorable experience. Our cruise manager Alexandra was wonderful. She seemed to be everywhere tending to all of our questions and needs. The fact that so many of our cruise-mates were repeat customers spoke ... Read More...

Ms.,

I cruised the "Castles on the Rhine" cruise in April and had such a fabulous time. Your ship and the cruise was so much more than I expected. Our group of 26 all came away with nothing but positive comments. The personnel assigned to our ship (River Ambassador from Basel on 24/04/10) were so professional and personable. Thank you for providing such a great experience. I will look forward to another vacation with Uniworld.

delightful adventure,

5/20/2010
I thoroughly enjoyed my cruise on the Rhine/Main/Danube rivers. The ship itself and the staff were wonderful. The staff in particular were helpful, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable- I could go on. The itinerary was good- a mix of cities and villages with mostly excellent local guides. The camaraderie that developed amongst the passengers was a delightful bonus- especially for myself traveling alone. I enjoyed some of the best conversation I have had in a long time. The pace is quite leisurely and I personally would prefer a little more activity, but that would be my ONLY change.

A great crew and staff.,

5/20/2010
The weather was lousy, the cruise was tremendous and relaxing due in no small part to the crew, from the captain to the laundry personnel. The food and servers for such a small ship was great. These guys definitely deserve a raise. We shall definitely travel with uniworld again.

Highlights of China Review,

5/7/2010
Recently returned from Uniworld's Highlights of China. The itinerary was exceptional and as the trip title implies, we really saw the highlights, from the Great Wall to the Terra Cotta Warriors in Xian including a wonderful experience on the Yangtzi River. Since this was our first land/river trip, we didn't have anything to compare this trip to since all of our previous international trips were with major cruise lines. However, suffice to say that we were impressed with what Uniworld provided. They seemed to make a sincere effort to provide us with the best. No ... Read More...

SERVICE BEYOND EXPECTATIONS,

5/6/2010
I recently returned from a wonderful cruise with Uniworld. The staff was extremely skilled and attentive. We learned mid-cruise that many of our return flights to the US had been canceled due to the Iclandic volcano and the cruise manager along with the ship's crew went beyond the "call of duty" to arrange hotels, ground transportation and even help with airline re-bookings. They opened all internet and phone lines to us free of charge and even offered staterooms to anyone who wanted to repeat the trip at a very reasonable rate. I will definitely cruise with ... A wonderful time,

5/4/2010
We have recently returned from a Uniworld River Cruise on the Danube aboard the River Beatrice. Our return, scheduled for April 18th was delayed 8 days due to the Icelandic volcano eruption.  The cruise up to the 18th was magnificent.  The ship was extremely comfortable, the tours were well planned with knowledgeable guides equipped with voice boxes and at a convenient pace. The food was excellent both in quality and presentation always accompanied with ample servings of good wine.

What happened after the 18th was extraordinary.  Stranded in Germany with the skies closed and no where to go we were amazed ... Read More...

Another Unbelievable Uniworld Cruise,

5/4/2010
This was our third cruise with Uniworld and second on the River Duchess and after each trip we say it can't get any better. It does!!! The River Duchess is a 5 star river cruise boat with the best crew afloat. The boat is in outstanding condition, spotlessly clean, and very inviting. The food and service in the dining room was absolutely outstanding. Best of all was the entire staff. They all made everyone feel as though they were family. Uniworld is a classy cruise line and we will continue to travel on ... Read More...

Danube Discovery,

5/3/2010
We took this cruise in June 2009 to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. It was one of the best vacations we have ever taken! Even though the water level of the Danube was extremely high due to a rainy spring, the organizers went out of their way to get us to our planned destinations, and we arrived on time. The boat was immaculate, the food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. We are planning another cruise in a year or two and can't wait to experience a second boutique river boat cruise. What a way ... Read More...

Splendors of Egypt & the Nile,

5/1/2010
What a lovely ship, spacious cabins, friendly & attentive staff. While Cairo is a crowded and hectic city, it is a must see to explore the pyramids & the wonderful Egyptian museum. Cruising up the Nile on the other hand is a calm & peaceful experience, with wonderful temples & tombs along the way.

Highlights of China and the Yangtze,

4/30/2010
We just returned from an amazing journey in China. A Uniworld agent, Amy, was a fantastic guide. If you get the chance to be part of her tour, you will be extremely satisfied. She shared with us history lessons about the places we visited as well as guiding us to make sure we had the optimal tour. The hotels in Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai were high class. The Victoria Jenna riverboat offered us a fabulous journey on the Yangtze. The places we toured were interesting especially the Great Wall and the Terra Cotta figures in Xian. All the ... A most wonderful cruise with you and the excellent staff,

4/28/2010
I would especially like to compliment Bart the cruise director onboard as well as Daniella who took wonderful care of us in Bucharest at the end of the trip. You have some fabulous, enthusiastic, thoughtful, fun people on your team. I hope  you can keep them!  We lucked out on our return by not being delayed because of the ash cloud, Daniella was very thorough with information and helpfulness.

Only one day home and I am already dreaming about our next Uniworld cruise.

 Thanks for a perfect time.

Robert & Nancy Wilby,

We would like to thank you for a wonderful river cruise in Holland. The Ship, the personnel and the food were wonderful. It put a new light into cruising better than the large cruise ships. We almost met everyone on the ship. The on shore excursions were outstanding with very knowledgeable tour guides. Our Cruise Director was beyond wonderful as he cared about all the clients. We will cruise with your company. The complimentary wine was an added pleasure each night at dinner. Thank
