Magical Parisian Holiday
Combining the glamor of Paris with the enchantment of a European Christmas, this 8-day cruise on the Seine is the stuff of holiday dreams. Feel like French nobility on private visits to countryside chateaux dressed in seasonal finery. Wander the rows “chalets” at local Christmas markets, where vendors sell regional produce, vin chaud, and wintertime treats. And as you explore this unique side of northern French culture, you’ll stay aboard a festively decked S.S. Joie de Vivre.
The S.S. Elisabeth
A new ship is ready to join our fleet! Sister-ship to the S.S. Victoria, which debuted this year, the S.S. Elisabeth has a distinctive ambience of contemporary luxury. We know guests will love some of her special features, such as an indoor pool and sundeck bar. To sail the S.S. Elisabeth, join us on select Rhine River itineraries next year, such as Castles along the Rhine from Basel to Amsterdam.
Cruise & Rail: Istanbul to Paris
Linking two of the most romanticized cities on the planet in one glorious odyssey across Europe, this 15-day luxury adventure combines our Paris & Normandy river cruise with a journey aboard the nostalgic Golden Eagle Danube Express. Cities along the route include Champagne in France—with an included tasting of the eponymous product, of course—and Vienna in Austria.
Wine Roads of France & Portugal
This sailing combines guest favorite itineraries Brilliant Bordeaux and Portugal, Spain & the Douro River Valley to create the ultimate 18-day journey for wine connoisseurs. Embark on the quintessential voyage through two of Europe’s most revered wine regions, complete with plenty of wine tastings along the way. This trip provides guests the chance to engage with local winemakers, enjoy outdoor adventures in picturesque vineyards, and savor the regional gastronomy that pairs so seamlessly with decadent wines.
Grand Italia
Explore three of Italy’s most vibrant cities—Milan, Venice, and Rome—and uncover hidden towns along the way on this 13-day adventure. Guests start in Milan to see da Vinci’s “The Last Supper,” then pause for an Amarone wine tasting en route to Venice. There, Uniworld guests are treated to a private visit to St. Mark’s Basilica on an exclusive Nights Out experience. The itinerary will then dock overnight in the colorful island of Burano, visit the quaint fishing port of Chioggia, and finish in the great city of Rome with a guided tour of its historic and charming sites. A shorter version of this itinerary without Milan will also be available in 2025.
Rhine, Moselle & Belgium Grand Discovery
A 15-day sailing from Belgium to Switzerland, this trip allows guests to immerse themselves in the cultures of six different countries in Central Europe. Highlights include delighting in classic Dutch snacks in the Netherlands, sampling the renowned wines of Germany, and stopping in Luxembourg for a lesson on important World War II history. Passengers will stroll through the picturesque lanes of Alsace and end the adventure with a scenic drive up a Swiss mountain for a breathtaking finale.
Dutch & Belgian Holiday Celebration
Join us on this itinerary next year to celebrate Christmas in Belgium and ring in the New Year in the Netherlands with an 11-day itinerary brimming with holiday cheer. Highlights include sweet treats at Belgian Christmas markets featuring ice rinks and Ferris wheels, as well as time to explore the UNESCO-designated light-adorned center of Bruges. Then, guests can learn about the arts and culture of the Netherlands, exploring Delft’s renowned porcelain workshops, a museum dedicated to Dutch art and the canal-lined streets of Amsterdam in winter.
Zurich
Previously only available on Zurich & the Rhine River Valley or Grand Central Europe & Zurich, Zurich is now a distinct extension option, combinable with Rhine, Moselle, & Belgium Grand Discovery. On this 3-day extension, embrace Swiss cultural highlights in Switzerland’s largest city, stay in five-star luxury at The Dolder Grand Hotel, and explore the Old Town with a local guide.
Madeira
Madeira beckons those looking for a blissful island escape with its temperate climate, beautiful natural environment, and unique local culture. On a 4-day extension to our Portugal, Spain & the Douro River Valley trip, stay at the incredible Savoy Palace hotel and venture out to take in the island’s dramatic landscapes—from towering peaks to dense forests, all surrounded by a deep blue ocean.
Cassis
Sunny, scenic, and situated right on the Mediterranean coast, this beautiful fishing port is the ultimate Provençal getaway. On a 3-day extension to our Burgundy & Provence cruise, stay at the seaside Hôtel Les Roches Blanches, a Belle Époque mansion that was transformed into a 5-star hotel, sample the famous white wines of Cassis, and explore with a local guide.
Biarritz
Discover Biarritz Basque Country on a 4-day extension to Brilliant Bordeaux. This resort town is so beautiful it is known as the “queen of the beaches, and beach of the kings.” In fact, the property we treat our guests to, the Hotel du Palais Biarritz, was originally a vacation palace commissioned by Napoleon III for his wife.
Kitzbühel
Enhance your Danube Holiday Markets cruise with a 4-day stay in the winter wonderland of Kitzbühel. A popular resort town in the Tyrolean Alps, Kitzbühel is everything you want it to be: snowy, blissful, and full of boutique shopping and tasty bites. It even has its own charming Christmas market!
Engelberg
Start or end your Rhine Holiday Markets cruise with a 4-day adventure in Switzerland. Explore the alpine village of Engelberg when the mountaintops are covered in snow and seasonal festivities bring the town to life.
