Renowned portrait and landscape artist Mr. Larry Aarons will serve as Uniworld’s very own art instructor and mentor on two sailings this year. His workshops are designed for everyone and will feature:
- A lesson on how to create a charcoal portrait using Larry's brush method.
- A small and personalized class setting with a breathtaking view of Europe’s stunning landscape
- A hand-drawn memento for you to keep and cherish for years to come
Uniworld is happy to provide these classes and all sketch materials at no additional cost. All you have to do is sign up onboard. Classes are limited to 10 students each, so don’t wait until it’s too late.
Larry Aarons is from the North Shore of Long Island. He graduated with an art degree from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and works today as a professional artist, creating art in every medium. His work has been featured in many one-man shows in galleries and museums in New York City, Art Basel in Florida and Long Island, NY, as well as numerous publications. His signature drawings have earned him the prestigious Presidents Award of the Salmagundi AAP and the Gold Medal of Honor from the American Artist Professional League. Larry has been the spokesperson for Life and Art at the United Nations in New York City. He was the cover featured artist on the international magazine ARTVoices, in addition to having his art written about and displayed in numerous publications. Fun Fact: Larry’s portraits of actor Robert de Niro and Chris Rock are now in their respective personal collections.
