Important information for Uniworld guests scheduled to travel via Brussels Airport
All Uniworld river cruises traveling through Belgium and the Netherlands are still operating as scheduled. Brussels Airport partially reopened with very limited flights on Sunday, April 3rd; service will be gradually expanded in the days and weeks ahead. In view of this, we offer our guests the following transfer options for their upcoming river cruise itineraries (available on scheduled day of arrival/departure only):
Guests booked on “Holland & Belgium at Tulip Time” (all departures)
Any guests with air travel originally routing through Brussels may reroute their flights through Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Uniworld will provide complimentary ground transfers from/to Amsterdam airport for all guests scheduled to embark/disembark their river cruise ship in Brussels. The drive is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
Guests booked on “Tulip & Windmills” (all departures)
Any guests with air travel originally routing through Brussels may reroute their flights through Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Uniworld will provide complimentary ground transfers from/to the Amsterdam airport for all guests scheduled to embark/disembark their river cruise ship in Antwerp. The drive is approximately 2 hours.

Uniworld continues to closely monitor the situation at Brussels Airport and all impacted flight schedules. We will contact you directly to arrange alternative air travel as needed.
Guests who purchased their own airline tickets
Please contact your travel agent or the airline’s reservation line to arrange alternative air travel as needed.
Additional Policy Notes
• Guests booked on any itinerary featuring Brussels departing through April 22, 2016 may re-book without penalty on any future 2016 or 2017 itinerary and departure date.
• Guests with their own travel insurance (not purchased from Uniworld) are advised to check with their policy provider for specific terms and conditions.
• Guests who purchased Uniworld’s Travel Protection Plan for any trip within the next 30 days (through April 22, 2016) that passes through and/or stays overnight in Brussels are covered under their policy’s "Terrorist Act" condition. Guests who do not re-book may make a claim directly with Uniworld’s travel protection provider, AON, in the event that they cancel.
• Guests who made a deposit at time of booking and wish to postpone their trip may take advantage of Uniworld’s $300 cancellation travel credit and re-book at a later date.
