Travel exposes you to new places, new experiences—and sometimes new hobbies. If you’ve ever wanted to learn to paint from a pro and sip delicious wine in the process, this is the hands-on opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Self-taught artist Davi D’Agostino will serve as Uniworld’s very own art instructor for a pair of Paint & Wine workshops onboard the Danube Discovery & Prague cruise, traveling from Prague to Vienna. She will instruct students on how to paint The Lavender, one of her many well-known paintings. Each workshop will feature:
- Insightful tips, tricks and techniques from Davi herself
- A small and personalised class setting with a breathtaking view of Europe’s landscape
- An introduction to acrylics painting methods
- Delicious regional wines (to help get the creative juices flowing)
Uniworld is happy to provide both workshops and all paint materials at no extra cost. All you have to do is sign up. Workshops are limited to 12 students each, so don’t wait until it’s too late.
Davi D’Agostino is an award-winning artist and teacher who began drawing and painting at the age of 9. She continued her passion for art through her graduate studies and 33-year career supporting the U.S. Congress. Her paintings have won national awards, including three Fairfax Art League People’s Choice Awards. Today, she belongs to the Springfield Art Guild, the Vienna Arts Society, and the Art Guild of Clifton (VA). She also serves on the Boards of Directors and Advisors of the Vienna Arts Society (2016, 2017) and is a juried member of the Oil Painters of America organization. Fun fact: One of her works is hanging in a private collection in Paris, France, while others are in collections from California to Iowa to Delaware.
