Airport Transfers

Group Arrival and departure transfers are included when airfare is purchased through Uniworld in conjunction with your itinerary and the flights fall within the Transfer Guidelines below. Private transfers are also available to purchase; please check with our Reservations team for availability. Please see our Terms & Conditions for additional considerations.

Making Your Own Flight Arrangements: If air is not purchased through Uniworld, both group and private transfers may be purchased if the air booked falls within our Transfer Guidelines. Please contact our Reservations Department for pricing. Both group and private transfers may be purchased up to 45 days prior to departure. To confirm your transfers, flight information must be given to Uniworld no later than forty-five (45) days prior to departure, and payment received.

All purchased transfers are non-refundable 29 days or less prior to your Uniworld itinerary^* start date. No refunds will be issued for transfers that are missed due to delayed or cancelled flights, or other travel delays. Guests who miss a purchased or complimentary transfer must make their own way to the starting point of their Uniworld itinerary at their own expense. Uniworld is not responsible for the cost of alternate travel arrangements due to missed transfers.
^*Your “Uniworld itinerary” is the full package you’ve booked through Uniworld, including any cruises, land touring, and/or rail programs, as well as any pre- and post-cruise extensions.

Please note: Due to airport restrictions, group transfer motor coaches may not be allowed to park in front of the terminal to pick up guests. The airport-designated area for motor coaches can be a walking distance of 10-30 minutes from the terminal, depending on the airport. Our airport representatives have limited ability to carry luggage or assist guests who have mobility limitations. Therefore, guests who want or need assistance are advised to consider booking our private transfers, as most airports allow private cars to stop in front of each terminal exit.

Transfer Guidelines: Flights booked by Uniworld or through independent purchase must arrive and depart the designated airports within the times listed below. Additionally, the dates of your flight arrival and departure must match the start and end dates of your Uniworld itinerary. If your flight arrangements arrive/depart outside of these parameters, you must make your own transfer arrangements.

Check-In and Check-Out Times

Please note that standard check-in and check-out times will apply regardless of flight schedules or transfer arrangements.

• Arrivals: On the day of embarkation, your stateroom will be ready after 3:00 PM. Guests who embark prior to 3:00 PM can wait in one of the public areas onboard. For itineraries beginning at a hotel, your room will be ready after the hotel’s standard check-in time. Uniworld is unable to request early check-ins.
• Departures: On the day of disembarkation, you must vacate your stateroom by 8:00 AM. Guests with flights departing later in the day may wait onboard in one of the public areas until 1:00 PM or later, depending on the sailing schedule. For itineraries ending at a hotel, you must vacate your room by the hotel’s standard check-out time. Uniworld is unable to request late check-outs.
