Due to COVID-19 and the effect it has had on the way we will travel in 2021 and beyond, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel protection insurance. Travel insurance is highly recommended and should include the following coverage: Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Medical Expenses, Quarantine Expenses and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation. This insurance should cover medical costs and a medically imposed quarantine if the insured, or someone the insured has come into contact with, tests positive for COVID-19.
Should you choose to travel on Uniworld without the recommended coverage or you are unable to obtain travel insurance with all of the recommended coverage, you will need to acknowledge your agreement to take full responsibility for all expenses (trip interruption, trip delay, medical expenses, quarantine expenses and emergency evacuation/repatriation) that may arise while traveling with Uniworld, including your agreement to indemnify Uniworld against all third-party claims, actions, damages and remedies which may be brought against Uniworld as a result of your participation on the cruise. Documents will not be released until the insurance declaration section of the Passenger Information Form or 'My Uniworld' has been completed.
