Day to Day:
Day 1: Dubrovnik
Arrive at Dubrovnik Ruđer Bošković Airport. If you have arranged a Uniworld arrival transfer, you will be greeted by a Uniworld representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
FEATURED EXCURSION: Walking Tour of Old Town
Note: UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Once you arrive, you are invited to join us on a sightseeing tour of the Old Town with a local guide, during which you will learn about the city’s iconic defensive walls—the best preserved in all of Europe. Also included on our tour today: the Fortress of Saint Lawrence and the city walls, which served as the filming location for King’s Landing in Game of Thrones.
Day 2: Dubrovnik (BB)
FEATURED EXCURSION: Korcula with Wine Tasting
Embark on a scenic 2.5-hour trip from Dubrovnik to the island of Korcula. Together, we’ll enjoy a delightful afternoon of free time on the island, often referred to as “little Dubrovnik” for the charm of its narrow streets and medieval architecture. Your guide will be ready with suggestions for lunch and souvenir shopping. Later, meet back with the group to return to the mainland, where we’ll visit a local winery known for its peculiar method of aging its wines: 66 feet under the sea in specialized glass bottles, a technique that ensures stable temperatures and pressure to enhance the flavors of the wine. Enjoy a tasting of these rare “underwater wines” with snacks.
Day 3: Dubrovnik (BB)
FEATURED EXCURSION: Lokrum Island & Game of Thrones Sites
Just off the coast of Dubrovnik awaits a little oasis in the Adriatic. Explore Lokrum island, known for its lush environment and botanical gardens. Fans of the Game of Thrones television series will also enjoy spotting iconic sites from the show filmed on the island. After your tour, you’ll have some free time to continue enjoying the natural beauty of Lokrum on your own. Alternatively, you can take the ferry back to Dubrovnik early to have more time on your own in the city.
FEATURED EXCURSION: Croatian Culinary Tour
This evening, enjoy your dinner at not just one restaurant, but three. Meet Dom, an official expert on wine and olive oil for the Republic of Croatia who is working towards a PhD specializing in local wine varieties. Dom will escort you on a guided culinary experience, beginning with a taste of the Adriatic at your first restaurant, where you’ll savor fresh-caught tuna paired and a seafood stew, each dish paired with a Croatian white wine. Next, feast on slow roasted rooster and a traditional beef pasta dish, the perfect match for Plavac Mali, Croatia’s signature bold red. To end the night, we’ll partake in a tasting of award-winning olive oils accompanied by a dark chocolate treat.
Day 4: Dubrovnik (BB)
Today after breakfast you’ll be escorted to Dubrovnik Ruđer Bošković Airport for your flight to Belgrade to embark on your river cruise aboard the S.S. Emilie.
Pricing:
From $3,749 per person (for 2 guests).
For solo guests, there is a single supplement from $670.
Note: Extension pricing varies throughout the year. Please call our Reservations team for pricing and availability details.
